This man is unstoppable! Like a glowing ember simmering in the hearth, he has burst into flame and is igniting activemotion with excitement.
Our very own creative editing genius, Matt Osborne, is nominated for yet another award – this time by the Australian Screen Editors Guild.
First it was his association to the Film Lion Gold award as well as the 2011 Grand Prix for Good award – in his collaboration with Director Tov Belling and the Scope ‘Rudely Interrupted’ clip, then the Bronze win for MADC’s Best Editing of the HWT ‘Super Footy’ commercial (what a mouthful)….now this.
Every year the ASE presents awards that celebrate outstanding achievement in Editing and is dedicated to the pursuit and recognition of excellence in screen editing across all its forms. Matt is nominated for the Level Two Music Award for ‘Best Editing in a Music Video’ - Schvendes ‘Lay the Noose’. He’s up against the following editors and their respective clips:
1. Brian McFadden ‘Mistakes’ – Brad Hurt
2. Son of Kick ‘Playing the Villain’ – Dan Lee
3. Tim & Jean ‘Don’t Stop’ – Alan Harca
