Midnight Snack
One of activemotion’s core values is to embrace creativity and to provide opportunities for our people to build their skills through in-house projects.
Our designers Stafford and Dane (me) have been keen to add some more character animation to the reel – the first step resulted in ‘Midnight Snack’.
‘Midnight Snack’ is a 40 second animation staring a hungry fridge and his resident spider friend and their eagerness to fill their bellies.
The process from storyboarding, building, animating to output was designed to help streamline the workflow for future projects, and of course to have a bunch of fun doing so.
Again we were reminded how vital creative sound design is when Sandy Milne at Risk Sound added his magic touch. Sandy really brought our images to life and we look forward to collaborating with Risk Sound in future projects.
We are currently entering ‘Midnight Snack’ into several festivals, so its debut on the web will have to wait for a little bit.
