Recently I came across a project called onward by John Robson. It is a short film based on his travels with his wife.. he created a character who goes on a intrepid journey to track down his lost wife. Watching the trailer was enough for me to want to see the breakdown for this apparent stop motion project —- This was when I discovered that he had developed some really cool CG techniques and was using kickstarter to help him get it finished. Inspiring for all innovative techniques used and original fundraising efforts.
